Daniel Amos (aka D. The., ) is the American rock band formed in 1974, by Terry Scott Taylor on guitars and vocals, Marty Dieckmeyer on bass guitar, Steve Baxter on guitars & Jerry Chamberlain on lead guitars.

Daniel Amos began retired as an acoustical quartet performing around bible studies & coffee bar across out Southern California.
